For those who choose not to be into politics, politics is choosing you. It's choosing all of us, for that matter, which means there is a collective cost for your nonchalance.
Like it or not, you will soon be faced with gut-wrenching questions about what you're willing to witness, abide, and even endure.
If we are all exceptionally lucky, we might merely be overwhelmed by a tsunami of graft, indifference, and incompetence.
But otherwise we could learn what it will finally take to awaken and animate your principles.
God help us, I hope it's not too late.
Until then, aside from sheer luck, it's your contingency planning that will dictate your personal outcomes.
So get to work.
