Just about every day we each make or witness some sort of queerphobic choice, and then excuse it, deny it, or look the other way.
Even queer people.
In the moment we think we either can't envision or afford an alternative.
But ironically we all stand together in this mutual culpability, a harm that would otherwise divide us.
So instead let's allow it to fuel the fire of our compassion, as we honor our shared fallibility.
And then burn down the cis-tem, together.
